bigtim
Got a new guitar called a Copycaster by DWC custom guitars but they are starting to make a notice here around Nashville with some of the professional players. The fellow I got it from is Chuck Ward and this was his. He is one heck of player and here is a link to him playing it. I have not really heard of DWC until I met Chuck and his dad is the luthier who makes them. It has a quilted maple top over a mahogany body with emg Texas Specials installed for pick ups. Finished out in a lime green burst and has a tinted finish over a birdseye maple neck. I got to say this is one sweet playing rig. I have always wanted a telecaster guitar but this is way beyond anything I had in mind for the time being. Yeah I know it is not a pre cbs original fender but I like it. Anyways fellow guitar players, here she is.
Izzy
Grats on the NGD. That is one...stand out color. It looks like the hole for the neck pup is sort of wide? Never heard of that brand. How does it compare to a tele tele on feel and sound?

How does it compare to a tele tele on feel and sound? All Tele neck pickup routes are that size. It's to accommodate for the baseplate of the pickup. It looks like the EMG in there doesn't have that kind of baseplate, but most Tele neck pickups do, so they route is wider. -Ryan
pippy
I Like It! If it were mine (don't take me wrong, though; it's nice as it is) I'd probably put a single-ply black 'guard on it. I think the contrast of the lime-burst and black would look pretty classy. I also like the model name! LOL! What does she sound like? Very Tele or slightly more ballsy?...............in the clip it sounds less 'edgy' (if you like) and more 'rounded' than I expected - but that might just have been the set-up. Chuck Ward is rather good, eh?....................................................... P.
Bender 4 Life
wow that's NICE !! except for the control plate being upside down & not having a gold ring around the neck p'up it's perfect !!! edit: are ya brave enough to play a dayglo/lime green Tele in Nashville?? How does it compare to a tele tele on feel and sound? The profile of the neck is similiar but the strings are lower than just about any other tele I have ever played. Neck radius seems to be similiar as well but I believe the action is due to a fret job that shows it was hand made and done with great detail instead of massed produced. The sound is similiar but with great bottom end and real high treble as well. I like it alot. Thanks, Tim

Overall one great fellow to know. The sound has alot more bite than a regular tele. He plays his amps settings clean but I like gain and this thing will really get out there on tone and comes alive. I like it alot. It has a heavier body with the mahogany and maple cap and it adds alot to the sound. Tim
Twiz
That's really cool. I like the birds eyes in the fingerboard. Cool NGD man.
