Hello all,

I have recently acquired a Gibson J-45 finished in Ebony. I'm unsure of the exact model just yet but it is very similar to the 1960's Limited Edition Ebony Finish J-45 available here in the U.K. There are a few differences though. The pick guard is the same shape but rather than the standard white colour it is a two ply black on white and has an engraved logo on it. There is also a non adjustable bridge, L.R.Baggs pickup, vintage cream coloured body binding and an orange label with Custom Shop printed on it.

Any info to help identify this guitar will be well received and much appreciated.

Welcome to the forum! First thing people will ask is for photos! Where in the UK did you get

your guitar?
