larryplatz
When I bought this guitar, it was outfitted with a set of bridge pins which are obviously not original. They look to be made of rosewood and are not slotted. I'm not sure what Gibson originally used, but by the photos I've seen it would appear they were white plastic. The pins in it now don't fit all that well and I'd like to replace them with replicas of the originals. Anybody know the specifics about the originals and where I could pick up a set. Thanks. aliasphobias
You might try Elderly. They carry authentic, vintage, plastic Gibson pins. I don't know if they would be exact "drop in" replacements but a good place to start.
larryplatz
Thanks for the tip. I've looked on their website and couldn't really find what I was looking for but maybe a phone call would help. I'll give it a try. Thanks again.
