I bought one of these last week and have been experimenting away - what a fantastic idea - straight in to my Mac laptop and Garageband and away we go recording. (Mac only product).

 

 

I know a few people here have them - great for singer songwriter - acoustic guitar etc etc.

There's also this mic from Blue. like the apogee mic it'll work on an iOS device directly also.

 

I tried them both out a little while ago and liked the blue a little better just due to the no/low latency monitoring it had. In all honesty though the size of the blue was much more appealing. Both had excellent sound quality
