LP Classic with bound headstock, what modell?

They did a lot of Classics and Classic Customs that year with bound SG inlayed pegheads.

I remember the Silverburst exclusive and a lot of others

I liked them but that SG inlay just wouldn't let me buy one.

That SG inlay and the binding was what hooked me, soo, we´re all different!

Since i don´t own a LP at the moment this one would suite me very well :-)

What about the tag, is 1500 fair, five years ago everybody would have agree on that it is a bargain, but now i see LP standards and even Custom shops at about that price here in Sweden??

My friend has one just like this. He let me have for awhile when I was trying to figure out what model les Paul I was going to get. It's a nice playing guitar. He wouldn't tell me what he paid for it, just "too much" and then a big smile.

Thanks, it is tempting at corresponding 1500 bux, i´m on vacation and have promised to not buy any music stuff, we´ll see about that :-)

I believe the standing rule dictates; while on vacation all promises are null and void.

That's so nice!!!

On the silverburst: I wonder why Gibson changed the painting scheme from the "teardrop"-shape to the "contouring"? The traditional way looked much better.

Cheers... Bence
