Wireless Rigs

Line 6 Relay are a good units, (which originally was a buy out from when they were called The X2.) There are several products, I think the G50 is probably the one that would get the job down for the least amount of cash.

I've had my X2 since 2005 or 2006 (pre-line 6 buyout).. it's been rock solid.

Advise that you also get some rechargeable 9v batteries for the transmitter. the receiver has an option adapter or uses a standard 9 volt power supply, so you could power it from a pedal board PS.

I've been using a Line 6 G30 for a couple of years now (home use only). I like it, but the only problem is the batteries don't faaaaaaaade; they DIE! Sound one second and none the next. No biggie for home use but might be an issue on stage, no?

yea this is a good point, and it was same with the original X2...s. A fully charged 9v (rechargeable) will give you enough to get thru a night if you make sure to shut it off when on breaks.

I always keep a cable handy, haven't been burned yet... --- yet...

I think you'll like it BBP.. if you've never had a wireless before, it's really cool to not have a cable dragging around behind you. I use mine almost ALL the time, even during practice sessions.
