Zeppeholic
So i recently bought a Les Paul Standard (2013) and it came to me in a box after i played one and wanted a different color.. I've had it for a few months now and i replaced the strings a couple weeks ago. well, there's a buzz when i play it for more than five minutes, it is not the strings becase it did this when i opened it up, but not until a few weeks into playing it. I'm just wondering if it needs a neck adjustment or something, because the strings are fine (I admit, they sound weird, but i don't think they're broken in) Can i go to my local guitar center and have them get it adjusted? I really need some expert help
crust
Look at the booklet that is supposed to come with your guitar. Also, find the "hex" wrench that should have also come with the guitar. Read how to adjust the truss rod. Follow those instructions. If that works, you just saved yourself a few bucks.

jdgm
Read all of this thread about buzzing: http://forum.gibson.com/index.php?/topic/102422-strings/ And then read the 'Action Weirdness' thread about 18 down from yours.
Bryan Sutherland
Are the strings touching the pickups when you play? Could be the string height is too low (or the pickups are too close to the strings). If you aren't very familiar with adjusting your truss rod, I wouldn't recommend doing it yourself unless you feel very confident in what you are doing. It's a brand new guitar, should be under warranty. My $.

Aymara
Can i go to my local guitar center and have them get it adjusted? Shure you can, but the question is: Do they have a good (!) techician? If he's unexperienced, it might get worse. So, why not check the Les Paul Setup Guide (<- click) to get a better understanding, how it should be. Which strings and gauge do you use?
