](*,) Getting ready to purchase a wah, there are so many to choose from. Is it really worth paying the extra $$ to get the biggest and badest? Or just get the cheapest cry baby?

Torn between wahs...............any recomendations??

I've been looking at them, watching reviews, etc......I too would be interested to hear people's opinions.

I'm leaning toward the vox847 in the more affordable ones and still trying to justify an expensive one...lol

You'll probably get as many opinions as people who respond, so I'll just go ahead and jump in.

I have used the same Thomas Organ Company Cry Baby since about 1974. If I needed to replace it I would go buy a Jim Dunlap "Original Cry baby" without hesitation.

I had a Slash wah and found it just fizzy all the time... got even more fizzy when you turned on the Slash fuz circuit, got rid of it

I like the Bonamassa wah..

switch inside has true by-pass and standard by-pass (makes a difference in the high-end when not engaged

Hello!

Usually it does worth, but as far as wahs are concerned, I'm totally happy with the cheapest VOX V845 (made in China) pedal. It sounds great, and I'd say it's quite realiable. The hinges started to squeal after a year of use, but WD-40 treatment solves this. (Mine came with 5-year warranty).

Cheers... Bence
