I have my book of charts....I've made copies for Fred and others.

I actually sent Fred the PDF's of about 250 songs a couple of years ago....and of course, I've updated them and added new songs right along.... well,

when I was editing some videos from SANSJAM 2013 a couple of weeks ago....I had a 'catastrophic hard drive failure'.

I'd like to say I had everything backed up..... and I did have quite a bit backed up....but ZERO PDF's of my song charts!

My hard drive is now at a recovery place......($500)...... we'll see what they can recover.

I don't even bother with playlists anly longer. We just sit down a bit in advance and decide what we are going to play - songs constantly come and go.

I have added two new ones though which are getting a good airing out:

Pig Meat Strut (Big Bill Broonzy)

Cigarette Blues (Bo Carter)

I am also working on a new arrangement of Blind Willie McTell's "Broke Down Engine" but am not there yet.

Quite a list there, Wily. Curious how you're pulling off "...Gently Weeps"? Are you with a band or solo? Would love to hear your solo version if you're solo. Haven't been able to pull that one off yet.

Yes....the chord changes and bass runs in that song are really beautiful.....lends itself easily to an solo acoustic approach. George Harrison greatly underated as a song writer, overshadowed by L&M.....I don't have a recording, but will hopefully do that one in the future.....I play it starting in Dm
