Opened the case to find a nice note from Ren Ferguson on top of this guitar. SJ-200 from whatever year, not "vintage". Very nice. Action is ideal (as one might expect) the sound is really really smooth, just like I remember from Bozeman. Its strung with John Pearse Mediums - apparently the previous owner's favorite for this guitar. No strap button, no pickup - just a straight up helluva guitar! Enjoy !

That serial number looks to be within the first 3 months of 2002. Beautiful [thumbup]

Sound sample or video when you can. I think this guitar has got to be the best get of the year! Nice of Ren to add a note. How lucky to have a hand picked big SJ200 by the man himself, wow. How did Ren select it, one day someone told him about it, and he got it off the line or what?

Hope tooth is better....

Looks fantastic Dan, really glad you got her in the end !

Loved the Gibson Super Jumbos from that time with their standard tulips, black coloured pickguard and the maple has a real flame on it. My 2001 J-150 has all those features also.

Love it ! [thumbup]

I'd get the note framed and hung in the music room, pronto! Sound clips, please.

What an awesome beast. I love it! Worth waiting for that little brown truck!

Now I hope your mouth is feeling better, too, so you can enjoy the guitar.
