Hello sellen, both of the LPs shown above on your photographs are very special. Possibly most Gibson LPs are special, if not all - at least each single of mine is, and even Epiphones are, their maple tops in particular. Among the very best you may find perfect harmony of tone and looks, and as everyone decides to one's own taste, there rightly so are many "best" guitars. The most important thing is that you like yours, and for the looks I can say that it is a very beautiful one. Cheers, and thank you for the pictures capmaster

JM2112
Plain or Flame!?!?!?!? Given those two pics above I would say YES!!! MAN does that LP look SWEET! I love the grain and the subtle flame on that top (never been a fan of quilt tops or a lot of flame). I would love to have it to keep mine company. BTW, thanks for giving me G.A.S. My tobacco burst flame LP Custom.
charlie brown
I'm one of those folks, that buys a guitar for how it plays, sounds, first...then maybe how it looks, if all the other things are there. Personally, I love "plain" and "figured" tops, both. Really just depends on the guitar, itself. CB
pippy
I'm with CB on this 100%. I didn't actually like the look of my #1 LP when I bought it but it was simply so stunning in both sound and playability I couldn't pass it up. P.
