E-minor7 276
Nice and crisp sound there - and a daring choice to bring this piece of loud rose artillery down. Smaller (cannon)balls if you allow the expression, but not at all loose powder. Until now anyway. I do this sometimes and my 12-fret got a set a while ago. Have to say there's a chance the AJ will become too tamed (weak) in a week or so, but keep us informed. Meanwhile enjoy this tip of the hat to the many silk'n'steel players from the 6 and 70's. It was a very common almost trend-like string back then. Nice playing btw.
EuroAussie 192
Didnt realise the SnS were big strings in those days Em7, but given the folk trend I can imagine so. Will see how they hold and keep you posted Em7, respect the feedback. Nice and crisp sound there - and a daring choice to bring this piece of loud rose artillery down. Motherofpearl 27
That aj sounds better than any Taylor I played but seems you definatly lose bottom with the lighter strings.
kidblast 1,479
If you wanted a Taylor, why didn't you buy one?...lol....Just kidding. I know Taylor owners are pretty sensitive and I'd never want to get them all riled-up.. LMAO!!!!
MissouriPicker 437
Kidblast, you've got a good sense of humor. Nothing in the world wrong with Taylors. I simply like Gibsons.
