A nice deed. Would you shave your head for charity? Or have you done anything 'odd' for one?
btoth76
That's charity?
jdgm
I play gigs for charity. My Mum died of cancer in 2002 and was helped in her last months by Macmillan nurses. I will do a charity gig for them any time at all, also for our local hospice. I saw a pic of George snr with his security men; all 26(!) of them shaved their heads. Cancer, whether in kids or older people or - anybody, is not nice. Cancer is a thief.
Kaiser Bill
Charity??? I play for charity every other Wednesday for the local foodbank. Its (what I thought was) a thankless endeavor. Last night one of the local television stations showed up and filmed us. When I got home... there I was on the 11 o'clock news. I've been doing this for a few years now, and every so often there is an article in the paper about it. Last night was the first time the news crew showed up with a camera man. EVOL!
Sure, I'd shave my head. I volunteer at a local food bank when my office offers it. We do warehouse work like sorting through donations to throw out the bad stuff or building pantry boxes to be delivered to families. I'd play any charity benefit *if* they asked me, but those gigs are usually meant to entertain people, not scare them off ;)
krock
I'd probably do it, I've estimated that I have only got another year or 2 until its gone due to male pattern baldness anyway

Dennis G
Here's 41 with his Secret Service detail - all with their heads shaved to support the kid. That's pretty damned cool. I was never a fan of any of the Bush's, but as he's grown into an elderly statesman, old 41 has become a pretty cool dude. Still don't agree with a lot of his politics, but he's a cool dude. Similarly, I was never a fan of a lot of his politics either but given that he had the good sense to spend a lot of time in my home state of Maine, hats off to you sir. I'm sure a lot of politicians are cool when they stop being politicians...

EVOL!
The last of the "country club" GOP'ers. Sportsman, war hero. Stood up to 'Voodoo Economics." And the last generation of born into privilege that thought they should give something back for that gift (talking about his service in WWII). A lot of these guys today were born on third base and they think they hit a triple.
