Well, EC's always been a great player, and (truly) One of my Favorits! Having said that,

I much prefer his Tone before he started using Strat's. I do like his cleaner Strat tone

on SOME of his songs, as it seems totally right, for those particular songs. But, overall...

I much prefer his "fatter" tone using Gibson's...LP, SG, ES-335, etc. Not sure if it's actually

the Strat, itself...or, the combination of Strat and Tweed Fender amps??? Just seems a bit

too "Thin" to me. But, that's probably just me! :unsure:

One of my favorite songs! Although, the one closest to my heart is "Wonderful Tonight" because it is the first song my husband and I ever danced to when we first started dating. :)
