Aymara
Hi, I got me the new Blackstar HT5R combo in white (Limited Edition), a great tube amp for recording and home use ... also has a heaphone out. It's the newer version of the former HT5, which had no reverb. This thing is pretty versatile, be it clean, crunchy or really heavy. Here's a nice demo video concentrating on the head, but the combo will be seen at the end too. PS: Clean tone demo starts around 08:00 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wJscCDMtKfU Did I mention, that it especially sounds great with Les Pauls? BobF_
The cab isn't bad for the price ... but I have a hard time finding anything I like enough better to fork over the dough :) I've reversed the speaks on the Blackstar and Bugera, but wasn't much diff to me
Aymara
... but I have a hard time finding anything I like enough better to fork over the dough :) This looks tempting (Marshall 1960b): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RIIyagBrwQ4 Don't know, if it's worth the upgrade for you. PS: I saw a video of a German shop, who showed the head with a 2x12 cab with bass reflex ... pretty awesome. Can't find that video anymore :( ... don't remember the brand, grrr.
