So ive been waiting for this film to come out for what seems like an age now and I don't think its going to be this year.. Not even a trailer yet..

BUT while searching to see if it was out yet I found this new pic.

Flying V Hendrix? :) (look at the tuners)

My absolute favorite Jimi performance was with a V, namely "Red House" on Isle of Wight. The tone, and the expression in the improv is just amazing. IMO anyways.

And a few years back I actually touched this very V at Hard Rock Café in London! [woot]

still, I have my doubts about this bio pic...

Yeah well I will have to watch it anyway.. Its Hendrix :) So we will see soon enough..

And yes.. Also when he played an SG, his tone was far better (I think anyway).

He even played a Les Paul

Even though after performing moves like this I think he decided he needed something lighter before his back broke ;)

That looks to me like the top of an inverted Strat's headstock… which would make sense, since he was a lefty playing a righty guitar.

if it was one of his inverted Strats you wouldn't be able to see the tuners on the top as its inverted they were on the bottom... You can clearly see the headstock shape is of a V and it has the old Tombstone Gibson type tuners not the metal ones used on Fenders.

Good point! I thought I saw the rounded tip of a Strat in that pic… never even thought of the tuners!
