I'm a huge Moby fan ... one of the things I admire is how he can take alot of him electro/dance songs perform them in the original way they are composed with an acoustic guitar (most of the time at least) ... I love this song :

 

 

 

 

he has tons of original material . he plays alot of gibson acoustics too =)

 

 

 

that being said the song natural blues actually is a sampling of this amazing song by Vera Hall called TROUBLE SO HARD :

Moby generally bores the snot out of me but I do like that tune - probably because of the lovely bit of singing.

 

I had not thought of that Vera Hall tune in years. We used to play that one back in the 1960s with just the singer and me on a reso.

Loved it ! Im just a passive Moby fan, but I agree with JC, this sounded fantastic acoustic with the awesome vocals and violin.

 

And how spankingly good does the Bird sound, so sweet and juicy. I was sure he was going straight into the mike but then I saw a chord leading out the back so I wonder if he had a pickup installed. Very, very natural tone !
