Arlo Guthrie on Ebay 1 day left

Just noticed an Arlo Guthrie that is way under priced with no-bids on Ebay. Man I wish I had some extra cash!

What is the nut width on that Arlo? I think it is a very narrow nut right???

Narrower than Gibson's usual 1.72, I think. Have played a few at various dealers and they leave me asking ... where's the tone? Want a small Gibson, check out the Robert Johnson L-1.

Seriously...you can get a new Blue Ridge parlor (0-sized) 12 fret slothead for significantly less money, which will make that thing sound like the overpriced toy it is.

I played one of these in Mandolin Bros. a few years ago. I too wasnt that impressed, especially at the 2000 grand mark!

Interesting, I've never seen one of these live, but thought they looked cool.

It's hard to sell a guitar with that little information and only one picture. That's my reason for not bidding.

I'm with Guitom. Seems more than a little questionable. I've seen this come up before with that same picture. I asked for more pictures and got no response. I keep an eye open for these Arlo models. They had one at FQMS that was pretty decent sounding - not unlike a Robert Johnson. Seemed like it could have blossomed with time. I'd like to get the little whipper one to go with daddy's Guthrie SJ and mommy's Guthrie 000-18. He's only 9 months so I guess I have a little time.
