twalker
In 1953, Gibson made a Kalamazoo model KG-1, which was the forerunner to the Gibson Model LG-0. They were approximately 35-40 of these guitars made in total. Being ladder braced it has that old-timey, bluesy sound to it and the 60 year old mahogany top brings out the 'woody' quality that everyone seems to talk about when describing these older guitars. zombywoof
Is that the same guitar Neil had a couple of years back? A friend of mine used to have one of those. I played it but it was many years back and do not recall much about it.

twalker
Slothead or not (head) ? Very interesting... No... it's a pointed roof peak headstock. Take a look at the second picture for a close up.

I really need better resolution on my phone. Not that I need glasses, or anything.
