stevecor1
I have a new addition to the Gibson acoustics that I own. Along with my J45 Custom and my Hummingbird, I just got my J45 Cobra Burst and I gotta tell you......I love it! It sounds amazing and it is an absolutely beautiful guitar!! I guess I can best describe the finish as very rich looking. I'm glad I decided to get this guitar and add it to my collection

stevecor1
I tried to upload a pic from my computer and it said the file was too big. I tried to copy the photo from photobucket and all I got was gibberish. There has got to be an easier way to get a photo on here.....

EuroAussie
I like that burst, would look awesome on a J-200 and a bit like Johnny Depps custom model of that ship from that Pirate movie ..

Aster1
Nice looking guitar. I would like to see one in person as it's an unusual finish (like tobacco or something maybe). Play it & enjoy that beauty. It's worthy of your undivided attention!! Aster
stevecor1
Thanks for your posts everyone I'm going to be away for the weekend but as soon as I get back I'll try to take some close ups of the finish. No matter how I tried to photograph the guitar, the finish always ended up coming lighter and with a slight green tint to the burst. In actuality, it is more brownish and darker in color...extremely rich looking! Also, before ordering it and getting it, I felt that the bridge and fingerboard would have looked better in ebony. Once I opened the case and saw it, I found that using rosewood for the fingerboard and bridge gave it a much more rustic appearance that I really liked. I hope all of this helps a little for those considering purchasing this guitar.

Great guitar, i bought mine about 3 months ago, just a question, do you have any idea on what strings it came with as i am now replacing mine, and have put on gibson masterbuilt lights...which it turns out are not the same at all in sound or looks...i am thinking it might be gibson bronze 80/20...any thoughts? I replaced the strings that came on the guitar with D'Addario EXP16 strings. I use these strings on all of my acoustic guitars. They last a long time and really have a great tone to them.
