strat71
hi, i finaly managed to amplify my J45TV qith a sound i like... i remove the M1A and put a K&K pure mini, i use my para di and found that the sound is great... don't feel the impedance mismatch everybody talk about... i should try another preamp to be sure... anyway, i put a 250K ernie ball volume in the effect loop... totally transparent volume, very usable.. the para di setting is gain at 9 oclock low at 2 oclock pres at 2 oclock all the rest at noon (found those setting on an old post and found it sounds quite good, the bass stays very precise...) i use a 1962 Fender Tremolux with a 1962 reverb stand alone... this setup is great... will try to use a PA and report how it sounds... anyway, i'm very happy i can use my TV amplified... for what it's worth... mking
I have a 2007 J-45TV with the K&K mini system. I have a Baggs Venue DI. I used to have the Baggs Para DI and I loved it. Is there anyone out there with this guitar and pickup system the uses a Venue DI? I would like to know what your settings are.
rbpicker
I use a K & K with an Ultrasound DI an get a great result. Excellent impedance match up and lots of flexibility. Can't beat K & K in my book. I'm playing a J45 TV also. RB

RB RB, do you use it at gigs?? how's the feedback sensibility? i wondered if i need to buy a soundhole cover... anyway, i hate the piezo quack, the M1A didn't give justice to this guitar, i'm a happy K&K user... rbpicker
Ben, I have used this setup at gigs and no feedback problems at all. This was not a loud band situation, rather a solo acoustic gig. I would not think a soundhole cover is needed in most cases. RB
