So, this question could be in the Les Paul forum as well.

But as I am way more into SGs after a long affair with a great LP, its like a new continent.

That still feels very much like the good old one

 

Whats your thoughts about the subject, how it feels, and in terms of sustain and sound.

what you like better, a simple double piece bridge or a single piece (whatever kind it is)?

(each piece with 2 anchoring poles of course);

 

I wonder about the different mechanics and its implications.

As well as the sound and the feel.
