icing777 Posted December 23, 2008 Posted December 23, 2008 Looks like another question for Tronical, unless someone already knows... Please, enlighten me! Thanks!
ScottiesInBoca Posted December 23, 2008 Posted December 23, 2008 not sure if this is what you were looking for, but when you go into Chameleon mode - the MCK shows your pickup configuration - and shows how each of the pickups is enabled. Pull MCK - select C - select E through #b. In some settings front is Single, others Double. Scottie
ScottiesInBoca Posted December 23, 2008 Posted December 23, 2008 Of course, I am not sure when it means when the various pickups are BLUE, RED, GREEN, or WHITE. Scottie
ScottiesInBoca Posted December 23, 2008 Posted December 23, 2008 Keep reading - all the answers are in a post called Owner's Manual. Thanks for doing that!!! Scottie
elantric Posted December 23, 2008 Posted December 23, 2008 I spent last Sunday with Dark Fire - I tried every combo, yes the Bridge PU could be split and unique sounds heard - that works, but in regards to the Neck P90H PU, I suspect its a single coil, as I could Not hear any difference due to any internal Neck PU coils being split. Also heard typical single coil hum in all modes.
Guitar slinger Posted December 24, 2008 Posted December 24, 2008 I can't believe you guys fell for it. BWAUHAUHAUAUHUAH!
elantric Posted December 26, 2008 Posted December 26, 2008 How do we independently control of each Pickup's north and south coil ? How do I enable Bridge PU North Coil only? How do I reverse Phase? Hoe do I change Series/ Parallel coils for neck PU? From this press release: http://tinyurl.com/6ooty3 Standard (Electromagnetic) Tones "Used “merely” as a standard (analog) guitar with high-quality electromagnetic pickups plus acoustic-like tones from its piezo-pickup bridge saddles, the Dark Fire already packs a staggering wealth of tonal capabilities. The P-90h and Burstbucker III are wired to allow each individual coil to be used in a switching matrix that provides over 20 separate combinations, all easily accessed by the player from the guitar’s own deceptively powerful onboard control section." How do we access these 20 separate combinations of Mag PU Combinations via the "deceptively powerful" MCK??
