jazzrat
Just received. It's a 2008 ES-335 "Fat Neck". And it is not misnamed.....093 deep at the nut. It is smaller than typical spec...19" vs 20" long. by 16" wide vs 16.25-16.5. It is also slightly thinner. It is right at 8 pounds. The surprise was the frets. Having been used to Gibson low/wide typical frets I was surprised to see taller narrower frets. Pretty sure they are Jescar FW55090's (.055H x .090w). Plays great, sounds great, looks great. I've got some TonePros Vintage steel locking studs on the way. Other than that I'm leaving it alone. Very inspiring guitar to play and glad to have it. Spoonful
Very nice. Interesting about the frets. That has to be the nicest looking headstock I've seen on a Gibson. I have a '59 Reissue 335 and the neck is huge. I like it though. I will have to compare the frets on it to some of my other guitars, but I guess it doesn't matter if I never really noticed.
