Guest J-Doug
Hi everyone, here's my very humble attempt at Woody Mann's neat tune Mr. Blake's Dance on a Martin 000-18MC recorded with a Zoom H2n. http://soundcloud.com/tripleohdoug/mr-blakes-dance Hope you like it. livemusic
That's a good job, kind of a cool old-timey song, guitar sounds good, too!
Hall
J-Doug - Hey! I did like that one. Nice technique and fine style on a very cool tune
EuroAussie
I liked it also, your groove is starting to come on nicely. I like listening to your tracks as its exactly the style Im trying to learn, and while I still have a long way to go listening to your approach makes me think that while its advanced, its also attainable ... in other words, quite inspiring. Thank you so much EuroAussie! This stuff is attainable if I can somewhat pull it off. That said I honestly can't believe I'd inspire anybody (except to leave the room)! BTW I know what you're saying about the groove. If there is one thing I struggle with is nailing the groove when recording. I tend to stiffen up and it is reflected in the music. I need to work on relaxing at recording time.
