Fran

My Spanish is pretty rusty too, but here's what I got:

"Hi, I'm looking for a Gibson J45 currently in stock in a shop in Barcelona. Specifically, I'm looking for the J45 Vintage Sunburst.

If anybody here can send me a tip by mail or post it here, I'd be grateful.

Cheers,

Fran"

Can anyone help him out?

Hola Fran! No puedo ayudar. Pues, un chivatazo pequeno: hay muchos tipos de J-45, no son igual. Per exemplo, Modern Classic, True Vintage, Legend...

Fran:

Feliz Navidad also and if you run into GG' date=' Judge Crater and/or Esteban- the same to them.

Don't know about GG, Judge Crater, but I believe Esteban is American (i.e. from the U.S., as opposed to the other Americas). Am not sure that he speaks Spanish, however.

Am maybe reading too much into some of the above responses, but a couple seem a tad condescending. Not sure why.

Esteban studied guitar with Segovia-so he says in his commercials-If they didn't speak Spanish maybe they used sign language.

Have a great Holiday Season

Segovia's English was actually pretty good. Plus, Esteban's "studying" with Segovia most likely consisted of taking one of his U.S. group classes, which were taught in English.

OTOH, since Esteban's idol -- Zorro, the fox so cunning and free -- spoke Spanish, it seems plausible that Esteban would have learned it.

Whatever language they spoke, why should the OP wish him "Feliz Navidad" -- are they friends, or am I missing something here?

And yes, indeed, happy holidays.
