moparguy
I was youtubing and came across this song. I think it is pure musical genius. I think it is my favorite song off of Toys In The Attic. I definitely like Aerosmith music when they were drug heads for sure. They hit perfection with this song i.m.o..

darling67
For the longest time I didn't really give Aerosmith the time of day… I thought they were like an "American Knock-Off" of Led Zeppelin—who were, and still are, my #2 favorite band. But as I began to hear more of them more—and more by them—I grew to appreciate them. This is my favorite by them. So dark, menacing, and ballsy! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lX8GG3dnsp8
Bender 4 Life
The all American "Rock & Roll Band" !!! one of my favorite songs to play http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FpUMsK6h0-I another "great overlooked" song http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wYfYG4qsv9Q "Rocks" is the only album that I have on vinyl, 8-track, casette, and CD

NHTom
Thats why I love the album GEMS......had all those early great songs that didn't make the regular greatest hits album. No more no more Rats in the cellar No surprise Nobody's fault etc, etc, etc....... Love that early stuff that never makes it on the radio. AndyK
I think Dream On is a superb song - it's an old man's song, but Tyler was only about 19 when he wrote it. My band is working on that this weekend. However, I personally love this... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ICeWOF50grM

feldkeen4
I love that song, as well. I was guilty of only playing that side of the album, over and over when it first came out. Never playing the other side. After about a year or two I never really played it anymore. So in the mid 80's when that rap version of walk this way came out I had no idea it was on toy's in the attic, even though I played that album a million times. rct
I am usually at a guitar less than five minutes before No More No More and Sick As A Dog come out of it, to this day. Played them songs back then, still my favorite Aerosmith t00ns. rct

Bender 4 Life
I just downloaded Chip Away at the Stone today. I really love that song. Always have. odd that they only played it live until '78 Bootleg....i've read that it was actually a .45 rpm B-side that never made it to a "proper album" until then due to a managers bad judgement. I play it almost every time I pick up a guitar. edit....just did some research & evidently it was side B to '74 S.O.S. from Get Your Wings. just for curiousity, anyone else here see them at "Champagne Jam" '79 or '80? I saw both.....Grant Field (old Atlanta Braves stadium)...Steven was soooo wasted that he fell during one song, and didn't bother getting back up until 2 songs later, think that was '79. seen them 5 times total......how many times have y'all seen them live? AndyK
I saw them at 1990 Monsters of Rock festival, and they were superb. I remember Tyler doing a backflip, and he was 42 years old at the time! Not something I would try!
moparguy
I saw them on the" Nine Lives" tour, it was awesome. I was surprised, Brad Whitford did about 90% of the lead guitar work, wasn't expecting that, he is a helluva guitar player ( we all know that). Steven Tyler was all over the stage doin flips and being a great front man. Awesome concert

Really an unsung guitar hero. Got to meet him after the show and he was just a great guy making sure everybody had pictures and autographs.
