Dream Guitars Pre-war Guitar Test

Very cool. For me it was #1 followed by #4.

Move over Big Thumb Tony.

1 and 4 seemed to be in a pretty tight race. #1 had a better bass line to play (around 15 to 17 sec, then again around 32) whereas the Gibby was given less of a chance to show off its bass (but the final chord at about 2:04 showed its potential).

Thanks for posting this BK--a great chance to hear these guitars, especially so since I recently finished reading Allen St. John's book Clapton's Guitar, which deals with guitars of this vintage. Great read.

Anyone care to give us a price estimate on each of these?
