charlie brown
And...don't forget, they were using Fender Amps, at that time, which are a bit different tone wise, than the Vox, of previous times. My AC-30/Casino combination sounds Great, but my Twin Reverb w/Casino really "Nails" it! Don't know what other's do, but I use the bridge pickup, and roll off the tone control, to about 7. John's Casino, had nylon bridge saddles, too...which soften the attack, a bit. My Casino has the stock brass saddles, so...that's one reason I tend to back off the tone knob, a bit. Seems to work, just fine!! By the way, Good Job, Clarkuss! CB

clarkuss
When I first got my Natural Casino it had flats on it and they sounded pretty good but I think John mainly used rounds on his Casino, as did the other two. Like CB, I also use the bridge pickup and roll back the tone for Get Back. I have installed nylon saddles on my guitar as well which takes a bit of the bite off it but you can always add it back on through the amp. I don't have a Fender Twin (yet) so I use a Vox Tonelab through my AC with a Fender modelling amp, heavy on the middle!
