And the heaviest slide out there , so for us ham fisted sliders , quite a lot of damage can be done by clattering it off the neck. I'm ordering two

Now all those 1%ers can something uniquely special to slip on their finger when they grab one of their prized vintage nationals and rip off one of their favorite Bluz: Moochers Blues (47-53), Poll Crashers, and, a favorite, the No Care Blues.

Paying more for a slide than I did for a number of the guitars I gig with?

 

A piece of string, cigarette lighter, some lighter fluid, bucket of cold water and a discarded bottle of Fighting Cock Bourbon will get ya there just fine.

Haha, 250 notes for a slide, I suppose if you don't ask you don't get, but for 250 notes I'd at least expect the courtesy of them wearing a mask while they robbed me.

Wonder how it would on/off compared to my Clayton Pork Knuckle, steel slides are so noisy for a bottleneck (unplugged) reso imo. Porcelain/ceramic slides are sweet for warm tone. I want a kryptonite slide.

When I was first learning slide, me being what they call "Kacky-Handed" in these matters, I had broken a few bottles and played with my new creation until there was too much blood to continue....

 

 

I then resorted to 'music shop slides' which are ok sometimes but generally don't fit - if they were jeans the legs would be long enough to go around again. The brass ones are ok if you get the right size, but the pyrex ones are too thin a glass to use on acoustic guitars.

 

Then I found Diamond Bottlenecks online (no affiliation!). They are made by slide guitarists in a glass making expertise area of England and they make a few other glass products so they have a whole lot of the glass associated machinery and my first buy a few years ago - the Blue Diamond is such a jewel that I bought a spare later, and recently I bought some more of their range.
