Twang Gang
Happy to say I found a good technician in Seneca SC. Having moved near there a couple months ago have been searching around and found a good tech at a local guitar shop "Musician's Den" on route 123. My Gibson CS 336 always had typical Gibby nut issues, so took it in to see if he could file it and he did a great job. Also my pickup selector switch was dirty and would cut in and out occasionally. He did an excellent job on both and it plays and sounds better than ever. Since he did such a nice job I now gave him my LP Classic Lite. He is going to fix that nut as well, and put a tone pot in for the bridge pick-up with a push pull feature for the coil tap. So can't wait to see how he does on that - if successful I will have the ultimate LP - lightweight body, full controllable tones, and a coil tap to boot. Twang Gang
So after my new tech did such a nice job on my 336 dressing the nut and cleaning up pickup selector switch I left my LP Custom Lite with him. Stock it only had one tone control, but also had a coil tap (in place of separate bridge pickup tone control). I wanted two tone controls, and to leave the coil tap available so he put in the tone cap, rewired so each tone knob controls a pickup, and made the bridge tone control knob a push/pull for the coil tap. It works great, I have full tone control of both pickups now, plus the coil tap feature which reduces volume a little, but gives higher definition. From the factory it came with 3 black speed knobs - he had all color of speed knobs in stock except black. So decided to replace the black ones with gold to expidite and since I wasn't in love with the black ones anyway. Here she is: PS - Total bill, capacitor, push/pull pot, 2 sets of gold knobs and labor ...............$104.

Izzy
I like the price. A good luthier is a blessing. Promote him. I always tell local guitarists about mine. Your girl is FINE, Mr.
