reverb/echo chamber repair

Does any one know of or have a contact number for some one that could trouble shoot a reverb/echo chamber unit?

I have owned this piece for at least 50 years, and the name plate for the manufacturer is long gone. Its not a Fender , Peavey, Marshall or any name brand I know, but when it worked, it was an amazing unit. I tried it for the first time in years last week and its not working correctly, so any one who does work on it will have to check each circuit I guess. I took it to a few places here in So Cal and you think I was bringing in the space shuttle, as these guys actually looked dumbfounded.

The unit is not very large so shipping it would not be an issue. I would not mind paying the shipping both ways if need be. I could probably find similar units for sale <not exactly Im sure> but I would like to have this one repaired if possible.

thanks

Here is a picture of the reverb/echo unit.

The name on the front of it says "Malboro" but the actual name plate is missing.

I am not sure, but I think it was sold by Montomery Ward. Remember those out let stores. They were like a Sears store in a lot of ways.

The unit has to be close to 50 years old, but it actually worked great

I am sure they out sourced the manufacturing of it, but I would not have a clue on who actually made the rever/echo unit

I live in So Ca. very close to Disneyland and Knotts Berry Farm.

The couple of places I took it to for repair had no idea on how to repair it.

Back in the early 60s I had one of the Fender echo chambers with the reel tape, and this one worked as good as the Fender unit.

I am sure its not worth much, and most likely will cost more for repair than its worth, but I would still like to see if it could be repaired

appreciate any help

I remember both the Marlboro name and the monkeyward stores pretty well. I don't remember that reverb though.

In that case, I'd skip the reverb thingy and take the Mrs to Napa Rose. Two of our best.dinner.ever. at that place.

Thats funny, as my step Dad always called it Monkey Ward.

Have not heard that in a long time.

As close as I live to Knotts and Disneyland, I have not been there in Years.

Other than my daughter and her family took me to Knotts just last week for their chicken dinner. Mighty tasty I must say.

AS far as a Mrs. aint got one, dont want one. Been down that road too many times, and dont plan on going again

Last place I took the Mrs. was to court, when I divorced her asre.

single and loving it

Alright with me! 33 years this year, and a few before we were married.

Was at Yellerstone in February, had to try it in winter it was awesome. From there down to Death Valley, then a couple nights at Disneyland. It was a good trip, a good return to DL, haven't been there in ten years. Napa Rose was just as good as we remembered!

Good luck with the reverberation thingamabob.

Well, with the lack of any other offers. I would happily repair it for the cost of any parts, of course, you'd have to shop it to London and back though.

I dont have a problem with that

If it can be repaired, I would like to have it done

Like I was saying, I am sure it not worth a lot <money wise> but the memories of where I used this reverb/echo unit and the people I played for are priceless.

It will turn on, but then it will fade out after just a couple of minutes.

If you can PM me with some information on where to ship it, I will get it to you.

I really appreciate it

Bill
