capmaster 71 Report post Posted September 18, 2013 HB081M is the Gibson item number. Referring to http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/HB081M it applies to the 1959 ES-335 Dot Reissue Vintage Burst V. O. S. AND YOUR LUCK IS THAT GOOD INDEED! Congrats, man, take a deep breath, that's a BIG deal! Have fun!
capmaster 71 Report post Posted September 18, 2013 Just researched. Thomann is offering a 1959 ES-335 TD with Vintage Natural finish at EUR 4590, and this one is said to come with two Burstbucker pickups (number 1, 2 or 3 not stated). P.S.: Forgot to mention that Sweetwater specified '57 Classic pickups.

capmaster 71 Report post Posted September 18, 2013 So, it's the really nice one, just like Gibson said? What's "TD"? (breathing into a paper bag) Yes, it's the really nice one, and TD says Thinline Dual Pickup.
capmaster 71 Report post Posted September 18, 2013 Sorry, forgot to post that on the Gibson website http://www2.gibson.com/Products/Electric-Guitars/ES/Gibson-Memphis/1959-ES-335/Specs.aspx Burstbuckers 1 (neck) and 2 (bridge) are specified. I can say that they are very great as the four-lead wired versions of 'em came stock on a Les Paul of mine.
