jej2
Can anyone help with information as to how I might find a period correct pick guard for my 1948 J-50. The original guard had been removed years ago and a larger leather one put on. I had it removed a year ago and luthier made a new pick guard which functions fine but not period correct color..... jej2
fp
If your talking about finding a guard that is from the 40's or early 50's, you'll have better luck finding a needle in a haystack !

zombywoof
Getting the proper style is not too hard but getting one made of celluloid would be tough as all get out. If you just want to have a good looking replica made you might try Terrapin Guitars. I have had some really good experiences with them.
