grampa Posted December 24, 2008 Posted December 24, 2008 Hey Les Paul guys, there's a picture of one on the cover of the current Economist magazine, being played by an angel. Check it out.
SRV-Zeppelin Posted December 24, 2008 Posted December 24, 2008 Yep. Only non-CS Les Paul with Super 400 inlays.
retrosurfer1959 Posted December 24, 2008 Posted December 24, 2008 The photo in the article was cooler really has that 70's flashback appeal going for it.
Guitar slinger Posted December 24, 2008 Posted December 24, 2008 The photo in the article was cooler really has that 70's flashback appeal going for it. It looks like Hendrix, or perhaps Santana (but I think it was modeled after Hendrix, since the guy is a lefty and there is some "Electric Ladyland" appeal to it) lefty guy, playing a Strat with a Tele neck. I know of a Fender Strat-o-Tele but is just the opposite thing. A very nice idea =)
SRV-Zeppelin Posted December 24, 2008 Posted December 24, 2008 It looks like Hendrix' date=' or perhaps Santana (but I think it was modeled after Hendrix, since the guy is a lefty and there is some "Electric Ladyland" appeal to it) [/quote'] You forgot the upside-down headstock. Hendrix always played with righty guitars strung backwards.
