Greatest Album Ever?

Recommended Posts

Led Zeppelin I, hands down. Everything a good album should be. 9 great songs, top to bottom, no filler, kickass opener.

Close seconds (for me):

Van Halen- Van Halen

KISS- Rock And Roll Over

AC/DC- Powerage

KISS- Creatures Of The Night

KISS/Ace Frehley- Ace Frehley

Yeah, I love KISS. Deal with it.

That would be an impossibility for me-even if facing the threat of death if I didn't pick one, I doubt that I could come up with anything less that 25 albums tied for first place as favourite.

The first rock song I heard that wasn't bubble gum rock was Black Dog ,it was a kick in the teeth and I loved it. The first live album was Kiss Alive, Strutter was my favorite. I guess Zeppelin 4 and Kiss Alive

Donald Fagen: The Nightfly

P.S.: With next to no distance follows

My fav. Big surprise. Abbey Road. Man I can listen to the whole thing, even I want You (She's So Heavy), uninterrupted and and love every minute.

2nd fav. John Hiatt: Slow Turning.

Thanks, i can name some other artists than rock that were great records. Johnny Cash prison records, Carole King Tapestry, Dead Kennedys Fresh Fruit if you like punk, and Fleetwood mac rumors was excellent also.

Hello!

I think, the quality of a great album is that You can listen to it from the beginning to the end without feeling the urge to skip a track.

From this aspect, I can hardly think of any.

Cheers... Bence
