Does vintage J-35 have "banner" ?

I don't recall any either. Their production did continue at a very low level into the banner period, so a few may exist.

I have not seen many but a year or so back I went to check out a 1942 J-35. It did not have a Banner. But as Tom says with Gibson you never know. The only thing consistent about Gibsons during these years was their inconsistency.

I've never seen a pic of a banner old J-35.

I have seen some vintage L00s advertised on ebay and from online shops with banner logos though. Are they fakes, John?

As I point out in my book, L-00s and L-50s inexplicably and occasionally got Banners. I know of no other exceptions. But, Gibson being Gibson ....

I must have missed the mention of the L00s. I think you included the L50s in your table of all banners produced, didn't you? I don't recall the L00s being inventoried.

Coinsidently I'm on page 164 and couldn't remember reading about the "Non-Banner Banners , so I went to page 150

to look.
