old mark
Got this ridiculous idea that I want one of these things, and I want information on them from owners or people who at least have played them...NOT looking for a collectable/museum piece, but a player, so newer is good, but it must be a P90... Any thoughts? Thanks. mark
Versatile
Love 'em to bits... A classic minimalist plank-of-fun... The funnest by far are the single bridge P90 ones... V
codename
I like mine. So does my cat , or maybe it's just the case he likes
NHTom
My reason for wanting to add a JR with a P90 is simple...........you plug them in............put the amp on 10 and rip the knobs off...........and they ROCK!!!!!! Perfection in their simplicity! NHTom
jimmyl51
Bought one at the GC in Oklahoma City when I was living there about seven months working as a contractor at Tinker AFB. Got the single P-90 pickup model with the junior original finish color. Heck it could easily replicate the historic version LP Junior and all for what was it $600 or so. GREAT, GREAT guitar for the $$! jim in Maine
old mark
That's pretty much what did it for me... I liked my old 68 and 72 LP Customs, but a really like my 50's Tribute and Junior Special, and my 2 SG Specials...I like the plain, no frills stuff, and they sound like nothing else. Just bought one this morning online. 2011, sunburst all stock except for an adjustable bridge for intonation replacing the wrap around, which is what I would have installed anyway. One owner, never played out and not played much at home...comes with an old brown Gibson hard case with the gold logo, the one with the combination lock...Probably worth half of what I paid for the guitar. Be here by mid week...pics shortly after. mark
