Lefty55
Anyone here ever try this combo? Over in AGF there is a thread about nickel strings on maple guitars. some say the combo is awesome. I might give this a try myself with the next string change. Thoughts?
duluthdan
I had some Martin Tony Rice Monel strings on my J-200 for a couple weeks. They were ok, but not great. Replaced with Lifespans and am happy. 12s
vacamartin
I'm a JP Nickel user on my maple b/s , Sitka top Nick Lucas copy. The tone is worlds apart from PB's, Bronze, coated, you name it! I will stay with Nickels for that special sound, and a bonus......less tension at 440! J.D.

I have Pearse 600L PBs on my Kopp Nick Lucas- I really like the tone. I have a set of Pearse Nickels here - what direction would they take the tone, in your opinion?
