Go fig! Sorry guys...the listing ended. A late 60's B25 went for $1533. Wow! I played a '65 B-25 (w 1-11/16" neck) for over 20 years & really like 'em. Also had a '64 Epi Cortez, and currently have a '66 Cortez. There's just something about them that grabs me, even with the plastic bridge. This little love affair in large part led to my recent purchase of the new LG-2 AE, which I find to be a real winner. Interestingly, what I paid for the new LG-2 is almost exactly what the B-25 went for @ $1533. Would I spend that kind of money on a B-25? Quite possibly yes - for a stellar example. zombywoof
Regardless of nut width, those low action, fast playing necks (or whatever Gibson called them) that show up in 1960 are just too skinny for me to get comfortable with. They feel more like an electric than acoustic guitar.
