i recently(today) took some pics of my baby on my new camera phone, how would i upload these? (how would i get 'em on my computer?)

Does your camera have any sort of interface to your computer? Or a mini SD card? Can it do email? if not you might just be SOL

Just kidding... you should upload them to your computer... then create a photobucket.com account... .then upload them from your computer to photobucket... and then you copy each pic's IMG code... (just click it and a info box will pop, it will say "copied"), then paste in the reply area (where you type messages here).

Ok here we go.

 

The first thing is to have your pictures uploaded to a web server. I think even orkut could work, but I really recommend you to try photobucket.com ok?

 

Good, go there, sign up and upload your guitar pictures (we will pretend it's the greatest gibson ever: mine) and you click on the thumbnail of your picture (a miniature picture of the SG)

 

Then you get your *** back here and click on the add reply button. Here is the trick, you'll look on the photobucket page that opnened when you clicked on the thumbnail and you'll select and copy this text here:

See the red notes? It marks where you'll find the correct forum-ready adress for your pictures. It's the IMG code. You can't miss it.

 

Then you just ctrl+v (paste) and post it.

It should work.

Try and e-mail the pics to yourself. I have a PDA and I just sent a pic as a MMS (multimedia message) right to my e-mail. My regular phone I had before it let me e-mail pics I took with my cell to my e-mail as well, just typed the e-mail address instead of a contact phone number.

Yeah, cell phones are good at taking things in but not as good at sharing out. Can't wait to see the pics tho -
