MissouriPicker
With a guitar like that, you need to take a month-long absence from work, just so the two of you can get to know each other.

ritchie69
A new design for sure, a good improvement especially on UST equipped acoustics, to avoid a string balance problems...

Sitedrifter
I think it is a defect. Checking 3 others J200s at sweetwater one seems perfect and the other two are like mine (low E not even)but one of the other 2 is not as pronounced as mine. Sitedrifter
I am a little upset about these pins being misaligned, to say the least. Not sure how that could pass QC at Gibson and I am glad to the poster who pointed it out.

ParlourMan
This looks normal, mate. The vast majority of them have a very slight arc, which works well for string break-angle. Fear not. A long time since I've senn one which appeared to be perfectly straight.

One would think a drilling jig would be used to drill 6 holes but if each hole is hand drilled one at a time, why the misaligned pins on some and not on others.
