tvguit
This is a 1939 Recording King Carson J Robison Model K Jumbo. It was made by Gibson and was basically the the precursor to the J-185 except that it was ladder braced, had solid Mahogany back and sides and no adjustable truss rod. Many have these X braced but I like them in their original bracing pattern. Benn at Vintage Licks has one of these for sale: CJR jumbo.

capmaster
Wow, this guitar not only works for acoustic blues but would also put out a very decent folk sound I think. Seems a very nice singer/songwriter instrument to me. As shown from 1'50" video runtime on, the guitar also translates nicely using dropped D tuning. zombywoof
It is my understanding that Bookbinder has his ladder braced guitars X braced.
