Kennis
More colors on all models (Pelham Blue on EVERYTHING!) More variations of the great old designs, like Korina Flying V with P90s, semi-hollow Firebird, Florentine Les Paul! Drop all robot, e-tune, "X" models, etc. musicians want real quality instruments, not electronic toys. And most of all confer with the users of this forum before releasing any new models or making any big decisions.
capmaster
I would release a 1970s S-G Standard reissue with lower neck joint, four-lead wired tarback Super Humbucking PU remakes, neck volute etc. but with 500 kOhms tone pots, parallel option for each pickup, single coil option in common and polarity (aka falsely out-of-phase) switch. Searcy
All guitars and basses would come with Dunpol strap locks. Gibson branded guitars would come with a hard case. I would get rid of all tasteful bursts. Anyone painting a guitar blue would be fired on the spot. I would make Stienbergers guitars our of polycarbonate again. I would have Kramer put out a top of the line super Strat. That should cover my first week on the job.

lovethosegibsons
I would hire someone who actually knew how to use the plek machine correctly then I would also do away with richlite on lp customs. Slash would also be **** out of luck on any new models and there would be a few new sigs for people who never got them. Bring up the quality control a lot. But the most important thing is I would hire a really sexy lady assistant to bring me coffee all day.

quapman
I would have the entire staff stop working, and load up every single completed or near completed guitar into a huge truck and delivered to my house. It's one day.
surfpup
1 - Drop the MIII 2 - Talk to the amp dept. to see why we can't make more cool amps. Fender is crushing us there 3 - Take home a really nice sig model or two that I will never be able to afford otherswise

Jammin' Joe
Seeing as it would be for one day because they'd probably fire me for this but..... I'd slash prices on everything down to the price of an Epiphone. Les Paul Customs for $600, Standards $400, SGs, Explorers, Firebirds $400. Izzy
One day...not much you can do to make permanent change. Sure can't make costumers happy. Maybe I'd have a sale too, like Jammin' said. Maybe I'd meet with Page to "discuss a new signature model" and ask him to sign my LPs (I mean Zep albums, not Les Paul) Maybe I'd do whatever it takes that day to make the stock go down and get my mom to buy a ton of stock...next few weeks, when it goes back up, sell. rct
Privately held, there is no stock. Publicly traded guitar companies don't work so good. rct
