jmjohnson Posted October 8, 2013 Share Posted October 8, 2013 Not sure what "the white circle" is - but just about any neck crack (in the wood) is serious - the strings put a LOT of pressure on the neck. If you have a crack you should remove the strings and investigate completely. The headstock/tuners put a snap-like strain on the neck when guitars fall over, wouldn't be surprising.
