capmaster
Every time I read one of your posts I like you a bit more. You have a very scientific approach when it comes to the physics of guitars. I hope you let the science go when you play! A healthy mix of science and creativity in a person is actually a rare thing. Ever considered a career in emarketing ? No, I am too busy with leaps to lower strings on upper frets when needing more sustain for certain notes intended to last longer on most of my guitars... It's quite interesting, there are no dull notes on higher frets, I just have to move over the neck heel, no matter if Les Paul, SG, Stratocaster, Telecaster, L6S or whatever guitars. There are very, very few without any weak note like my LP Traditional 2013, Fender Telecaster American Deluxe Ash and Frank Zappa "Roxy" SGs. I also remember a 1980s Aria Pro II semi-solid with bolt-on neck owned by a bandmate - awesome!
