opaque
hi im new here. and have a question about a 1968 Gibson dove I just got. the condition I got it in is pretty bad id give it a 4 out of 10. My question is. is it worth restoring to sell it? or just getting it fixed to use? I only have 2 pictures. thanks for looking.
zombywoof
I would fix the headstock (it looks like it is split) and just make it playable. Don't sweat the cosmetics.
duluthdan
That looks pretty cool, fun project. I would not have a clue where to begin, but someone here might. Anybody have a picture of a bridge on a 68?

JuanCarlosVejar
that looks like a great guitar ... I would get it totally fixed by a reputable luthier . JC
J-1854Me
It looks like a worthy candidate. If you decide to not keep it, you could give it to Willie Nelson. He'd think it was 'lightly used'. Fred

MissouriPicker
I'd checkout the options. At the very least I'd have it made as playable as possible and have a great time with it.
