my lame video

OK, I know it's too long, the quality sucks and it's clunky but I was determined to get this done. As I said before it's my first time editing/producing a video. At least I think the audio sounds pretty good even though the playing is just me wanking.

I put it on Photobucket rather than Youtube because I only wanted it to be viewed by the Gibson Forums crowd. I'm less likely to get trashed by the viewers here!

I was using the manual amp settings with only Reverb added except for the last few seconds when I used the amps pre-set setting for the UK80s (Marshal I presume)

Without further adaux

I just might be my laptop being an @$$hole, but your video won't start playing. =(

Too bad, I'd love to see it.

EDIT: After waiting for a long time, it started playing. Lovely sound & well played! Too bad the audio & video don't sync.

Thanks. The funny thing is, the audio and video are synced a lot better when I play the file off my hard disc, but when it was uploaded it really got out of sync somehow!

Nice-ola and then some. Those little VOX modellers are cool - and (no surprise) the actual VOX models are pretty durned good. Nice licks, nice guitar and (cough) interesting editing <grin>.

Glad you managed it though - now we expect bigger, better, wider ranging, more symphonic production from submission number two..... and we want it a.s.a.p.

Of course - you have raised the bar saturn, now we no longer demand pictures from noobs.....

.....we demand feature-length MTV quality vids. =D>

I'll call Universal Studios, you get me some actors. Ben Affleck is no option. Aight?

Wow, that amp sounds great! now imagine if you knew how to play...

Just a little joke man... the playing was as good as the amp's tone, or even better. Great job man!

...hey what do you have against assleck? I heard he is good to have arund on a studio: no matter what kind of whatever age girl you paid for, you can always blame it on him.

I laughed at reading 'assleck'. I fell off my chair after reading the rest. OH GOD XD

And what do I have against him? Hm.. Pearl Harbor. 'nuff said.

You pretty much nailed the tone dude, and I would be the last to ever knock your video production and guitar playing skills.

Bravo on this effort, and I'd like to see more.

I would also like to have a special area set aside here for this type of sharing. A quick load option would be very nice.

Thanks for the kind comments. I was embarrassed to post it just because I knew I had just fumbled my way through it. Even during the recording, I just had the camera propped up on top of my other amp and pointed in my direction. The playing was totally spontanious. I just tried not to have too many dead air spots.

What I really wanted to do was capture some of the different tones from the Vox and I think I did that, although there was some better stuff on the high gain settings that didn't get recorded because the SD card filled up.

Next I'll try to get some clips of the B52 in action.
