solacematt Posted December 26, 2008 Posted December 26, 2008 wow...1700 doesn't seem too bad for that Violetburst one.
deepblue Posted December 26, 2008 Posted December 26, 2008 Theres a red one sitting at Long & Mcquade, Burlington as we speak....new.
saturn Posted December 26, 2008 Posted December 26, 2008 I'm not being smart, but what's the deal with Goddess'? Are they supposed to be geared toward females like Daisey Rock or something? I know at least one member here has posted pics of one and it looks really nice.
GuitarJunkie Posted December 26, 2008 Posted December 26, 2008 I know at least one member here has posted pics of one and it looks really nice. Personally' date=' I would jump on one of the Violetburst SGs if I came across one at the right price... [img']http://www.jerrock.com/66/files/Image/Guitare/Pieces/Corps/SG_Goddess_violette_norm.jpg[/img] Even the Skyburst isn't that bad...
Dynadude Posted December 27, 2008 Posted December 27, 2008 That violet SG is gorgeous. Kind'a reminds me of the colors that Ric uses.
No Use Fan Posted December 27, 2008 Author Posted December 27, 2008 Thank you dynadude. They really want 1700 for one? I have seen em last year online for 1300. Thats almost how much i purchased my traditional for. Jeez. If anyone gets any other leads let me know. It doesnt matter what color really. althought 959's goddess looks so nice in those pics.
Flight959 Posted December 27, 2008 Posted December 27, 2008 I'm not being smart' date=' but what's the deal with Goddess'? Are they supposed to be geared toward females like Daisey Rock or something? Homz Posted December 27, 2008 Posted December 27, 2008 Seems a bit pricey to me, considering you don't even get saddle adjustments for each string. It's pretty though.
retrosurfer1959 Posted December 28, 2008 Posted December 28, 2008 Still don't see the beauty kind of Gibsons answer to Daisy Rock guitars and the whole Disney teenage girl rock start thing??? Or I'm just a old fart that doesn't get it...
retrosurfer1959 Posted December 28, 2008 Posted December 28, 2008 I Still don't see the beauty in these and can-t stand the colored PU isn't this kind of Gibsons answer to Daisy Rock guitars and the whole Disney teenage girl rock star thing??? It's kind of a light weight thin body mixture of a Studio and Melody Maker combo guitar in kids/girl colors unless I'm missing something special on them Or then again maybe I'm just a old fart that doesn't get it I have a 13 year old niece who thinks the purple one is "To Die for" in her best Hannah Montana imitation voice.
