Which of the colours for the Gibson Les Paul Traditonal looks better Heritage cherry sunburst or New honey burst?

Recommended Posts

Based on the colors on MF, I like honeyburst a little more. Of all the 2013 Traditional burst colors, I like HC the least.

I have a 2012 Light Burst which is not my favorite color either, but it was the guitar that spoke to me the most. It's hard to get all the planets to align.

Yeah, Honeyburst, is a great color, and...it's often what a true Vintage Les Paul,

that started out "Cherryburst," ended up as. The Cherry/Red color, back then, often

faded into what looks more like a lighter Honeyburst, now. So...??? [tongue][biggrin]

I have LP's in both colors. No real "preference" that way, for me.

Just in how they play, and sound! You'll know, once you find "the one!"

Exactly the same here.

Obviously Tone and Playability are 100x more important than colour but, all these important things being equal?

HCSB.

No offence to anyone who likes them but I absolutely hate rim-burst paint-jobs.

Depends on the guitar model for me, and also on the price - I went with it on my Fender Stratocasters and my Epiphone LP.
